Revolutionary Road: Tracing the Landscape of the American Revolution

Trip Overview

June 12 - 16, 2022

This trip will step into the era of the Texas Revolution (1835-36), providing a personal tour of the coming, fighting, and aftermath of that famous war that continues to shape Texas.  UNT History Professor Andrew Torget will lead us on a chartered bus tour through iconic sites – such as the San Antonio missions, the Alamo, Goliad, San Felipe de Austin, and the San Jacinto battlefield – as we make our way through the landscape of the Revolution, exploring the full grittiness of the Revolution and life along the far-flung Texas frontier. Watch the recording of our recent info session below to hear Dr. Torget bring the trip's itinerary to life in his own words!
