Susan Supak was previously the host of the Library Out Loud podcast at the Albert Wisner Public
Library (AWPL) in Warwick, New York. Since retiring from a successful career in public
relations and relocating to Texas with her husband, she has become an enthusiastic
supporter of OLLI at UNT. When we asked why she chose to become a member, Susan told
us: "The numerous scientific studies that highlight the connection between lifelong
learning and community involvement with maintaining cognitive and mental health make
OLLI at UNT the most fun and exciting 'preventive medicine' we could ever want. It's
a dose of interesting classes, bright people, and fun activities!"
Susan also co-hosts the Authors Out Loud interview series with Dr. Jean Greenlaw, featuring in-depth discussions with acclaimed authors of all genres.
